“Celebrating Freedom, Learning, and Togetherness with Tribal Youth”
On 15th August 2025, the 30th batch of DCIP interns celebrated Independence Day with students of four pre-matric Scheduled Tribe hostels in Kozhikode — Vadakara, Kunnamangalam, Puthuppaady, and Easthill. The programme aimed to combine the spirit of national celebration with creative and educational activities, while fostering stronger connections with children in the tribal hostels. The initiative was also part of DCIP’s larger commitment to ST welfare, inclusivity, and community engagement, in collaboration with the Tribal Office, Kozhikode.
