“Share Love, Not Drugs: Building a Healthier Tomorrow”
Overview:
The Puthulahariyilekk campaign, conducted under the guidance of District Collector Shri Snehil Kumar Singh IAS, was organized by the District Collector’s Internship Programme (DCIP) with support from the District Social Justice Department, Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, and the Kerala Excise Department. The initiative was launched to raise awareness about the dangers of tobacco and drug use while encouraging healthier lifestyle alternatives. Aligned with World No Tobacco Day, the two-week campaign actively engaged citizens of all age groups through creative communication tools, interactive contests, and targeted social media outreach. By promoting positive pursuits such as arts, sports, and travel, the campaign sought to reduce substance abuse, foster community participation, and inspire a culture of healthier living across Kozhikode.
