International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking : Souhrida Mathil

The Kozhikode District Administration, under District Collector Snehil Kumar Singh IAS and the Social Justice Department in collaboration with Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, organized a district-wide campaign to raise awareness about drug abuse and encourage preventive action among youth. Anchored in the Puthulahariyilekk campaign, the initiative engaged schools, colleges, and public spaces to promote healthier alternatives like art, music, sports, and travel. Through creative expressions, rallies, murals, flash mobs, and student-led human formations, the program aimed to foster youth leadership, civic responsibility, and community participation toward a drug-free future.
