“Srushti” Two-Day Summer Camp at Chembukadavu

The two-day summer camp “Srushti” was organised on April 29–30, 2025, at Chembukadavu Government UP School under the guidance of District Collector Shri Snehil Kumar Singh IAS. The initiative was coordinated by DCIP interns in collaboration with the, NSS Azad Sena, Scheduled Tribe Department, and ADORA NGO. The camp was designed to engage school students from nearby ST Unnathis through creative learning, career-building sessions, and interactive activities that encouraged confidence, teamwork, and life skills development.

Inauguration: The Hon'ble District Judge of Kozhikode, Bindu Kumari, inaugurated the event.
Interactive Sessions: Engaging workshops on storytelling, communication, and life skills led by mentors, DCIP interns, and volunteers.
Creative Activities: Dream Board activity, poster-making, and group discussions to nurture creativity and expression.
Entertainment & Sports: A magic show by artist Malail Hamsa, along with a friendly football match between camp students and DCIP mentors/interns.
Cultural & Fun Engagements: Singing, games, and collaborative performances that created a joyful learning atmosphere.
Outcome / Impact:
Provided tribal students a platform for creative expression, confidence-building, and exposure to new skills.
Strengthened the bond between the ST Unnathi community and DCIP interns through interactive activities.
Highlighted the importance of career guidance, communication, and life skills at a young age.
Fostered inclusivity and community spirit, culminating in certificate and prize distribution for participants.
