Campuses of Kozhikode is a dynamic platform that empowers young people, particularly students, to actively contribute to sustainable development in the district. In collaboration with local colleges, this initiative mobilizes thousands of students and volunteers through various programs focused on drug awareness, waste management, water literacy, health, and legal education. Flagship projects such as the Canolly Canal Survey, Suchitwa Saaksharatha, Puthulahari, and the Anti-Drug Campaign foster participatory data collection and community engagement, helping shape informed local policies and improve public spaces. DCIP interns play a crucial role in coordinating activities for Campuses of Kozhikode, serving as an extended hand of the DCIP to reach out to the public and enhance the initiative’s impact. Recently, the District Administration organized a Students' Conclave for students from various colleges in the district, focusing on core areas like the differently-abled, waste management, and anti-drug awareness, with DCIP interns coordinating the event. By fostering empathy, responsibility, and innovation, Campuses of Kozhikode nurtures the future leaders of the district, committed to building a compassionate and sustainable Kozhikode.
