Access and Social Equity
The Kozhikode District Administration is committed to building an inclusive district where access to rights, services, and opportunities is ensured for all, especially marginalized and vulnerable communities. Through focused interventions for persons with disabilities, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, widows, the elderly, children, and the homeless, the administration has worked to remove structural, social, and documentation barriers. DCIP interns have supported these efforts through field surveys, data-driven planning, grievance redressal mechanisms, documentation drives, and accessibility initiatives—strengthening last-mile delivery and ensuring that governance reaches those who need it most.
